OUR CHALLENGE
As Showplace Inc. grew its number of locations and ventured into new businesses, the challenge of finding one solution to meet the requirements of both business platforms became necessary. Reports needed to reflect accurate data for both businesses along with finding a solution that would not require considerable resources of owner Gary Ferriman and his managers.
After several missed commitments, Ferriman knew it was time for a change. He wanted a reliable system that could easily adapt to both the rent-to-own and payday lending markets. Showplace was looking for a technology partner that could provide a steady system with little downtime and accurate inventory data reporting. What Ferriman found was High Touch.
THE HIGH TOUCH SOLUTION
High Touch’s first priority was to provide Showplace with a reliable point-of-sale system that co-located both a rent-to-own application and payday lending application. The PRO/Store system and Enterprise module provided the company with accurate store-level operational information for both businesses. Customized reports gave management a snapshot of the entire business in a variety of different formats. Throughout the years, High Touch has upgraded Showplace’s system with features to help the company do business smarter.
High Touch’s VPN and online security solutions coupled with the Linux Home Office Super Server gave the company quick, reliable connectivity while protecting all customer and company data from intruders. Ferriman and his district managers use the VPN to obtain remote information quickly from wherever they are located. Showplace has seen a shift in its customer base and requests for online transaction capabilities. The company placed priority on offering online shop-and-pay. High Touch implemented an online transaction system that automatically integrates with Showplace’s POS system, saving resources and minimizing online transaction errors.
PROVEN RESULTS
Showplace has a reliable, secure connection to upload 14 stores’ information nightly.Ferriman and his managers can quickly obtain information while traveling.The integrated accounting system automatically populates all the information into Showplace’s financial statements, saving considerable resources.Online transactions automatically integrate with Showplace’s POS system eliminating human error.
