CLIENT: Fitness Bootcamp
OUR CHALLENGE
Fitness Bootcamp understands that clients who train with them look to them as a total resource for their diet and exercise needs. They recognize the fitness industry is increasingly more competitive as Internet resources continue to multiply. Fitness Bootcamp’s six-week program schedule gives clients flexibility but limits the time the company has to build a solid, lasting relationship with their customers. Fitness Bootcamp wanted their web site to actively engage their clients in the training program. In addition, they wanted the flexibility to update content on their own while preserving the original design of the site. The firm asked High Touch for a solution that was branded, easy to navigate and had practical tools to help maintain and grow their client base.
THE HIGH TOUCH SOLUTION
High Touch recommended a phased approach for the Fitness Bootcamp web site, prioritizing desired features and spreading the investment over three stages. Utilizing client supplied logos and color schemes, High Touch designed a site that was consistent with Fitness Bootcamp’s marketing efforts. The content management platform provided by High Touch separates design and functionality so Fitness Bootcamp can update content, add and change photo and turn features on and off, without compromising the original programming and design. With the first phase successfully completed, High Touch created the members-only support area.
The free, password-access site houses nutritional information, class schedules and cancellations, as well as an e-mail link where members can ask questions to trainers and nutritionists. An online class registration and payment option makes it simple for people to act on their impulse and immediately enroll and pay for classes. High Touch initiated Google’s web master tools to help Fitness Bootcamp monitor and optimize their search engine rankings. The Web Development team coached Fitness Bootcamp’s web master on the inner workings of search engines and what techniques the company could use when updating the site to increase their rankings.
PROVEN RESULTS
• Fitnessbootcampwichita.com consistently ranks in the top 10 searches among targeted keyword searches on major search engines like Google.
• Approximately 70% of Fitness Bootcamp’s members utilize the members-only area.
• Customer retention is now at 85%.
• With the new tools in place, Fitness Bootcamp staff members can manage member enrollment and payment with one process, increasing staff efficiency and providing members a quick, secure way to sign up for classes.
